This cumulative song is sung throughout Latin America. Its origins are not known. The informant recounts singing this song with friends while on the bus going to camp, the song going so fast the words blur. The lyrics, instructing a goat to leave a fence, can continue further, with someone eating the cow, or herding the cow, and so on.
